Introduction

The department of hand and microvascular surgery is dedicated to treatment of disorders related to the hand and wrist.

The unit specializes in management of traumatic and non traumatic conditions related to the hand.

The Department consists of hand surgeons trained to address various problems including trauma, nerve repairs, tendon transfer surgeries, congenital anomalies, brachial plexus injuries, carpal bone fractures and wrist arthroscopy. Treatment of hand injuries including reimplantations, reconstruction, and limb salvage surgeries are routinely performed. Hand & Microvascular department aims at restoring the aesthetic and functional value of hand. A round-the clock coverage ensures that injured hands are treated with the standard of care at any time.

The department carries out microscopic surgeries for Tendons, Ligaments and Nerves of Hand. Hands are very important part of body and are most commonly injured in Heavy industries involving mechanical work/Jobs.

Being surrounded by industrial zones, Hand injuries are frequently encountered. Bringing these patients back to preinjury level and bringing them back to work in disability free way is our Aim.
